Stroke Central New Zealand is a member-based organisation that provides support for Stroke Survivors and Whanau. We run regular Health Promotion Campaigns to reduce the risk of stroke and other cardiovascular diseases for Aotearoa’s population. Our aim is to reduce the burden of Stroke on New Zealand as a nation.
You can reduce your own risks and those around you by taking on the information in our campaigns and creating a more healthy and active life for yourself and your whanau. Additionally knowing how to identify a stroke may save a life: F.A.S.T. Face, Arms, Speech, Take Action (Call 111 if you think you or someone you know experiences a stroke!)
