Story

Kia ora tātou,

This year the big sis Jen (doing her 13th marathon since 1998), and I (doing my 2nd marathon, 21 years after my first and with no training #idiot) have decided to participate in Rotorua Marathon and fundraise while we're at it.

We're raising money for the Rotorua Hospice who really supported the old lady, and our whānau, over the last few years before she died in January. I figured I can go through a bit of pain for this worthy organisation.

Any donation small or large will be appreciated, You can making a secure online donation by clicking over there ->>>.

Donations made through this platform will be remitted directly through to the Hospice. Alternatively if you just wanna throw some cash at us, I'll make sure it gets to the Hospice, my account: 02-0506-0041547-083.

After donating please leave us a smart-arse message or even one of support!

Nga mihi for supporting this kaupapa friends and whānau!

Jim & Jen xx

Rotorua Community Hospice Trust

Rotorua Community Hospice provides free of charge care and support to anyone living with a life-limiting condition e.g. heart failure, motor neurone disease, MS or cancer. We care for whānau and friends as well, both before and after death. Our goal is to help people make the most of their lives; to live every moment in whatever way is important to them. We care for the whole person, not just their physical needs but also their emotional, spiritual, and social needs too. Whilst free of charge to people using Hospice services, it costs a lot to provide. Financial support from the community is essential to meet the shortfall - every year, Rotorua Community Hospice must raise one million dollars to ensure we can support over 420 patients. Thank you for your support!
