Story
Hey folks, I’m running a half marathon in Rotorua in a few weeks. It’s an entirely selfish enterprise but gives me an excuse to do something healthy with a friend (train/dip in ocean). Seems I’ve acquired a go fund me page because I ticked a box saying I supported fundraising for Motor Neurone Disease. I wasn’t sure what I was letting myself in for by ticking the box. This page is it. I do support this cause and I am going to give a donation in memory of a dear colleague Sabine Weber-Beard who was so quickly devastated by this disease and passed away last year. The world is a lesser place without her curiosity, energy, quirky take on the world and friendship. I miss her even though I don’t work where she worked, I feel the vacuum she left. So if you want to chuck a few dollars to this cause it would be cool. Official words below.

You can support our efforts and help us reach our fundraising goal by making a secure online donation. After donating you can even leave a message of support on the page – it would be great to read these.
Together we can make a big impact on race day!
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to our charity of choice.
Thank you so much for your support!
